Lights Gone is a captivating adventure blending humor and terror that delves into the theme of confronting one's deepest fears. The narrative follows Abner, a young boy plagued by a fear of the dark. One fateful night, peculiar sounds echo through the hallway outside Abner's room, prompting him to investigate. To his dismay, he encounters his worst nightmare: "El Coco," who has imprisoned Abner's parents in the attic. As the once-familiar house transforms into a realm of horror for Abner, he must muster his courage, armed with only a slingshot, to rescue his loved ones from the clutches of "El Coco."

Exploring the dark and labyrinthine corridors of his home, Abner collects an arsenal of toys and equipment to aid him in his quest. Each item strengthens his resolve and bolsters his fearlessness in the face of formidable enemies lurking in the nightmarish setting.
